Tighten the allen head bolt through the back bracket until the brackets are snug to the roof rack.

The widest opening of the brackets should conform to the shape of the roof rack bar.  When shifting the Skydome up a little, the resulting slack in the brackets should be taken up with the bolt.

This tightening process should be repeated until there is a good fit of the brackets to the roof rack.
